Mayyil Rice Producer Company

We are a farmer-owned enterprise with 627 shareholders and a strong network of over 2,500 farmer members. In the financial year 2024–25, the company achieved a turnover of ₹256 lakhs.

We support farmers by providing technical guidance and proven agricultural practices developed in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), along with quality farming inputs at affordable prices.

The company procures paddy, pulses, and millets directly from farmers at fair prices and processes them into value-added products, including bran-retained rice, puttu podi, avil, and GABA rice, a premium sprouted rice known for its health benefits.

With our own storage and processing facilities in the Mayyil area, sales outlets in Kannur and Mayyil, and mobile marketing and home-delivery services, we ensure efficient distribution. Our products are also marketed through other Farmer Producer Organisations and franchise partners.

The company has remained consistently profitable since inception and distributes annual dividends, reaffirming our commitment to farmer prosperity and sustainable agriculture.
